9 Malaysian Institutions Receive Six-Star Rating from MyQUEST

The rating certificate was presented by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, he also revealed that the evaluation is mainly measured by these three aspects: the quality of an institution, the programs and practices of private higher education institution with the status of a college.

“In December 2014, 238 of the 406 private university participated in the rating, and out of the 235 private colleges that are qualified for auditing, 199 private colleges were granted the rating.” he said.

Besides, he also suggested that apart from raising the reputation for those colleges which have a high rating, it increases the public confidence towards the quality of local higher education as well. […]
